In case most of you don't know, my favorite channel is the Food Network. I don't get to watch it much these days - usually about 1/2 an hour when I first get home from work. Paula Deen is on around that time, which is fine by me. She's one of my favorites & actually cooks food I would cook or eat.
My niece, Elise, is 10 years old. She loves to cook & has been to several summer cooking workshops. She likes to help me in the kitchen whenever I'm in there. While she was here, we were talking about a unique restaurant that we could open up. We came up with Pickle Paradise. We were teasing Ravyn since she hates pickles, but she also helped us come up with our gourmet menu. Elise wrote it down while we were driving.
Appetizers: fried pickles, pickle soup, pickle salad
Entrees: pickle pizza, pickle taco, pickle burger
Desserts: pickle pastry, chocolate covered frozen pickles, pickle ice cream, pickle pie
Drinks: pickle lemonade, pickle latte, pickle juice, pickle milkshakes
Breakfast: pickled eggs, pickle pancakes, pickle toast
Sides: pickle chips, pickles
Please let me know if you would like to be the sole investor in this exciting enterprise.

Sounds like a winner...kind of like OUR adventure...The Broccoli Shack. Anytime our girls ask where we are going to eat, Shane tells them The Broccoli Shack. We came up with LOTS of great broccoli dishes. The gross-out factor was priceless!
